Innovative Styles
The logo needed to read well on merch (was looking to have only one color in it) and to last through many years on the team. A smaller challenge within this was to also create a circular design to fit into the Instagram profile picture.
Thus, I iterated on logos around movement (specifically that of contemporary dance) and had members vote on the final design. After a design was finalized, I first perfected it by hand and then later in Adobe Illustrator.
I ended up with one main logo and a small circular logo mainly used for Instagram. I used both of these logos on team hoodies and shorts that everyone continues to wear!
Dollies 22-23
To keep us warm and keep our dresses clean we wanted to create a cute oversized black sweatshirt.
I drew inspiration from other sweatshirts I had come across and we decided on doing a fun, quirky font with a large saying on the back. We went with our classic Dollie Legacy saying, "dollies never die, our kicks just get lower." I used Procreate to create all the letters by hand and arranged them until we loved the outcome!
